Engineered for lightweight liveability, the TelosTR2Plus is a two-person freestanding tent that delivers roomy comfort without sacrificing packability. It features Sea to Summit's trademark Tension Ridge architecture, which sweeps the DAC Featherlite NSL aluminum poles upward to create more headroom and vertical walls enhancing interior space and door height for easy entry and better views. The dual-layer ventilation system includes a large apex vent and baseline vents that work together to reduce condensation without letting in rain; both are easily adjustable from the inside. You can even setup the rainfly solo for a dry pitch or breakdown, and the Hangout Mode turns the fly into a semi-open shelter using trekking poles-ideal for meals or sheltering from sun or mist. Inside, the Lightbar system lets you clip a headlamp into the pole sack at the apex, filling the tent with diffuse, soft light.

The TR2Plus replaces the mesh inner of the standard TR2 with a full-fabric inner tent, improving warmth and draft resistance in cool or damp conditions. Its 30D ripstop nylon bathtub floor boasts an 8,000mm hydrostatic head, while the 15D silicone/PU-coated ripstop fly offers 1,200mm waterhead-both with fully taped seams for dependable waterproof performance. Peak height with 43.5 inch. In use, users consistently praise its spacious feel and ventilation, driven by its vertical walls and multiple venting options. Some reviewers caution that the fly can sag when wet, and that it's not ideal in high-wind conditions due to its wall profile. Onetheless, it remains a favorite for camping in damp or cooler shoulder-season conditions: well-ventilated, adaptable, and modular-with the Fair Share load-split storage system and modular setup adding flexibility and convenience.

Product Features:
1. Tension Ridge architecture: A patented inverted-V pole design that lifts the canopy upward, providing generous headroom (105cm) and wide doors for easier entry and higher vestibule storage.
2. 3+ Season Design: Built to handle extended-season conditions with solid fabric panels and a durable rainfly for wind and cold.
3. Ultralight Materials & Poles-Fly: 15D Sil-PeU nylon, Floor: 30D Sil-PeU nylon, Inner: 20D breathable mesh and fabric for strength-to-weight efficiency, including DAC poles, YKK zippers, 7-series aluminum hardware.
4. Freestanding Setup: DAC Featherlite NSL poles and quick-connect hardware make pitching fast, stable, and simple.
5. Hangout Mode: Rainfly can be pitched separately using trekking poles (not included) to form a semi-open shelter ideal for communal meals or shade breaks.
6. FairShare storage system: Tent packs into 3 stuff sacks to split the load. After set-up, stuff sacks transform into gear storage pockets.
7. Lightbar: The pole storage sack doubles as a ceiling-mounted light diffuser when paired with a headlamp, illuminating the entire interior softly.
8. Quick-connect feet & pegs: Machined aluminum pole attachment points enable swift single-handed setup. Ships with 8 strong 7075-T6 Ground Control Light stakes and adjustable guylines with V-toggles for stability.
9. Modular pitching configurations: Choose from Dry Setup, Fly Only, Inner Only, Partial Fly, Classic, or Hangout Mode to match weather and usage.

Perfect reference guide
Format: Paperback
I bought this book to supplement my lessons with an AMGA guide to learn how to set up toprope climbs. I used it many times to practice and reinforce everything I learned. It is really well written and my favorite book in terms of the knowledge contained within. As common sense would dictate this is not a book to teach your how to toprope...it is a reference to what you have learned?

Essential To Read Before the Class
Format: Paperback
This book provides a good overview of what you'll need to know for your AMGA Single Pitch Instructor (SPI) course and assessment. If you plan to take that course this book is a no-brainer. You just have to buy it and read it. There are a few shortcomings: * The photos of how to tie the knots skip a lot and it is impossible to learn the knots from the book. * The photos of what not to do should be clearly labeled with a red cross bar or WRONG overlay on the photo. If you flip causally through the book and look at the photos some very wrong stuff is there and you have to read the text to know that it is not recommended. * The religious debate on anchor systems rages on. Should you set up a Joshua Tree System with Tether or a Backside System? I realize the AMGA doesn't want to pick sides and will say either is acceptable, but the book doesn't even try to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of various anchor systems.

Format: Paperback
this book will get you ready for the course, but there is a lot to learn outside of the book as well. Training and time is the only way to become truly proficient at the skills out lined in this book. over all good book, quality pictures.
